JobsRUs.com is seeking Utility Workers in Kenosha, WI $18.00 per hour Hours 7am-3:30pm - Monday - Friday JOB QUALIFICATIONS ? Must be able to operate all equipment, ensuring that safety and quality is a priority. ? Ability to follow verbal and written directions. Must be able to read and understand the following: Shipping Orders, Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, Invoices, Pallet tags, etc. ? Must have the ability to learn and maintain Lift Truck Operator?s license, as applicable. ? Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES 1. Various clean up and janitorial tasks. 2. Material sorting activities. 3. Comprehend and follow verbal and written directions. Must be able to read and understand Shipping Orders, Bills of Lading (BOL), Packing Slips, Invoices, etc. 4. Ability to earn and maintain Lift Truck Operators license. Electric lift trucks will be used for moving products in warehouses and to load/unload shipments 5. Must be able to operate all equipment making safety and quality a priority. 6. Understand and follow safe charging and refueling of lift trucks 7. Ability to use and follow proper lift truck aisles for movement of products 8. Perform machine operator functions to include feeding materials into and operating semi-automatic equipment. 9. Responsible for maintaining a clean and neat warehouse. 10. Follow all safety procedures, including but not limited to, wearing proper protective equipment (PPE) working at heights, confined spaces, hazmat, etc. 11. Ability to sort effective products as directed. 12. Cooperate and communicate with managers, supervisors, and team members in a respectful manner. 13. Knowledge of SF scanner or ability to learn on usage. 14. Other duties as assigned by management. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS 1. Must be able to work in an environment where ambient temperatures vary significantly, from below freezing to temperatures that can exceed 100?. 2. The employee will be subject to noisy conditions in excess of 80 dB 3. Must be able to safely operate forklift truck while exposed to a variety of physical conditions and exposure to hot mechanical components or hazardous materials. 4. Must be able to wear all personal protective equipment as required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ? Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and walk for extended periods of time. Utilizing upper body, arms, and hands for picking, lifting, pushing, and pulling. EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
