Shift: Monday through Friday 2:45-11:15 PM with a 30 minute lunch break. Stable work environment Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail?oriented Welcome Center Associate to manage the check?in and check?out process for truck drivers arriving at our distribution center. This role is essential in keeping our inbound and outbound traffic running smoothly and ensuring all paperwork is accurate. Job Duties: ? Check in and check out all truck drivers ? Verify shipping and receiving documents ? Perform basic container security and safety checks ? Enter trailer and door assignments into the yard management system ? Direct drivers to the correct locations ? Track inbound and outbound loads ? Report discrepancies or issues ? Assist other warehouse teams when needed Experience & Education Requirements: ? High School Diploma or GED Preferred ? 1 year of relevant experience, such as: ? Shipping/receiving ? Warehouse clerk ? Yard/gate check-in ? Logistics or distribution environment ? Ability to read and understand shipping documents ? Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office experience a plus) ? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ? Able to work with minimal supervision ? Good organizational and communication skills Physical Requirements ? Walking, standing, reaching, and bending ? Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs ? Ability to work around moving equipment and warehouse noise ? Must have normal vision (corrected 20/40+) and hearing suitable for warehouse safety Work Environment ? Moderate to loud noise levels ? Working near moving equipment ? Exposure to temperature changes and warehouse conditions Key Responsibilities Pick and label cases for customer orders using RF and voice technology Build pallets by scanning, stacking, and organizing cases Load parcel shipments onto bulk trailers Operate shrink wrap machines and perform dock manifest duties Transport pallets manually or using walking material handling equipment (MHE) Ensure accuracy and proper packaging of shipments Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety protocols Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred If no formal education, applicable work experience must be clearly noted on resume Must complete and attach a pre-screen document Ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification Strong verbal communication and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret distribution documents Safety shoes required Hiring based on resume review Physical & Environmental Requirements Frequent walking, bending, twisting, turning, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Repetitive hand and wrist movements required Must have normal vision (corrected to 20/40) and sufficient hearing for safe equipment operation Exposure to moderate to loud noise and moving mechanical equipment Temperature-controlled warehouse environment Additional Information Must adhere to attendance policies and complete required training modules Hazmat training may be provided depending on role requirements## BD04123JD | |
