As a Test Technician, you?ll combine mechanical, electrical, and software expertise to build, test, and optimize sophisticated medical devices. Pay Rate: Up to $32/hour Schedule: Monday ? Friday | 6:00 AM ? 2:30 PM Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Weekly Pay The Production Test Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing assembled flow cytometers and related medical device products. This role involves working with electronic, mechanical, optical, and fluidic systems to ensure products meet performance specifications and quality standards. You will perform system-level and subassembly testing, analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate works independently, applies strong technical judgment, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Production Testing & Troubleshooting Perform final production testing and inspection of assembled instruments Optimize systems after final assembly (laser alignment, pressure adjustments, electrical tuning, etc.) Analyze test failures and determine root cause Repair or replace defective components and complete required documentation Compare test results to specifications and record data accurately Generate documentation for Device History Records (DHR) Collaborate with engineers, QA, technicians, and production teams to resolve issues Develop and document troubleshooting techniques Provide feedback on test methods, assembly processes, and product design Support projects focused on quality improvement, cost reduction, cycle time, and new product introduction Comply with ISO 9000, cGMP (21 CFR Part 820), and regulatory requirements Minimum Qualifications Associate?s degree (A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year technical college 3+ years experience in a high-tech or manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting skills across electronic and mechanical systems Experience using DVMs, oscilloscopes, and general test equipment Proficient with PC or Mac; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Good mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks BD04123JD | |
