Potential for permanent hire based on attendance and performance!

In this Role You Will:The work we have temps doing is stripped-down parts of our overall process - checking in couriers, unbagging, bar coding, moving samples around the lab ("running"), loading samples into analyzers, adding samples into centrifuges, swirling samples with a liquid chemical, pulling samples from our refrigerated storage area.

For onsite visits, the candidates must have their legs fully covered, no skin showing even at the ankles.

Attendance and punctuality extremely important to position.

The ideal candidate has experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Human Lab Background:
Candidates from large labs like LabCorp or Quest?or high-volume hospitals?tend to do well. Strong fits include processors, accessioners, and phlebotomists.

Vet professionals can be great if they also have recent fast-paced experience (e.g., Amazon, FedEx, fulfillment, or food service). Those from smaller clinics may struggle with our production pace.

Recent Biology Grads:
Must have fast-paced work experience; purely research-based backgrounds are typically not a match.

No Lab Experience:
Must be willing to handle blood, urine, fecals, and biopsies and have fast-paced, on-your-feet work history (food service, warehouse, fulfillment, Amazon/FedEx, production, etc.).

What You Need to Succeed:
? Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), material safety data sheets (MSDSs), operating and maintenance instructions, government rules and technical procedures.
? Ability to prioritize and multi-task
? Strong initiative and follow through
? Attention to detail
? Ability to work independently and as a team contributor
? Must demonstrate a high level of customer service
? Good computer skills: Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
? You meet the physical requirements that go with working as a Lab Associate ? May transport hazardous waste within the facility and may occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
