Growing meat processing company in Vernon is hiring bandsaw operators to join their team as soon as possible. Monday - Friday 10 am start time Duties include: Ability to process orders per order specifications Cross train on necessary processing equipment; slicers, dicers, tumblers, vacuum machines, tapers, stuffer, and any other equipment as needed including Band Saw. Maintain equipment to ensure safe operation. Report any issues to supervisors immediately. Never operate a band saw or machine that is not working properly. Adhere to all company training protocols and only operate equipment that you have been properly trained and approved to operate. Follow all company safety protocols and company policies at all times. As well as all safety procedures for Band Saw operation. Follow GMP?s, SSOP?s, and company hygiene standards. Continuously monitor quality of products and ensure food safety standards are being met. Requirements: Must have schedule flexibility due to overtime and weekend hours Must be able to work in a cold / freezer environment Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Minimum of 3 years of Band Saw Experience Good visual acuity Good manual dexterity Ability to handle a knife safely | |
