Pay $13.25/Hour Description: Summary: The main function of a production worker is to safely make and deliver a quality product right the first time that meet or exceeds company and customer expectations. A production worker serves as a member of the Operations Team and typically performs tasks with manufacturing equipment and maintenance. Job Responsibilities: ? Work safely around manufacturing equipment and in handling cleaning chemicals ? Promote safety, maintain a sanitary food environment, and ensure that only the highest quality product is made ? Work with facility leadership to engage in professional development in a learning organization ? Perform tasks of receiving milk and starting, running, shutting down, and cleaning the associated equipment ? Perform required laboratory and quality checks ? Accurately maintain required logs Perform tasks in a timely and accurate manner ? Perform all chemical tests ? Complete and store all required documents as per 5S standards ? Achieve production goals (KPI's) ? Document processes ? Participate in continuous improvement efforts ? Perform all master sanitation duties ? Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity ? Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Skills: ? Knowledge of and skill with company computer systems ? Able to complete basic arithmetic, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions ? Able to use critical thinking and learn new processes and disciplined to following processes ? Ability to demonstrate strong initiative and follow through on day-to-day responsibilities ? Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality ? Able to work in collaboration effectively and foster good teamwork ? Able to work well with others and communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing ? Able to promote a positive, creative, and professionally pleasant work environment ? Able and willing to engage in continuous improvement Education/Experience: ? High school diploma or GED required ? 0-2 years experience required with preferred experience in a manufacturing environment | |
