Position: Packager/Inspector
Location: Swanton, VT (Onsite)
Type: Full Time, Year-Round
Training: On-the-Job Training Provided
Training Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:15pm

SHIFTS:
1st: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
2nd: Monday-Friday 3:00 pm -11:30om
3rd: Sunday-Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Job Duties:
As an Inspector/Packager, you will be trained and responsible for the setup, operation, and
troubleshooting of various measuring equipment that verifies compliance of final medical product prior to preparing product for shipping. Your job functions include:
? Ability to read and understand information on route cards and blueprints for each order processed
? Washing and drying of product to prepare for final inspection
? Inspecting finished product for visual defects by lot-sampling of finished dimensions for final acceptance
? Perform buffing/deburring operations to attain product conformance
? Packaging and labeling of various medical burr blanks
? Ability to use various programs to perform basic data entry, inventory processes and access files to retrieve required certifications that must accompany shipments
? Placing packaged products in correct inventory locations
Perform other duties as required

Experience:
Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical functions in the areas of fractions, decimals, metrics, conversions, as well as working knowledge of basic geometry and trigonometry
Mechanically inclined, preferred
Ability to perform basic computer skills and the ability to operate in a Windows and non-Windows format
Ability to establish and maintain a professional and effective working relationship with co-workers and other employees at all levels in the organization
Effective written and/or oral communication skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
Ability to carry out assigned tasks and projects to their completion with minimal supervision
Ability to work independently and with multiple tasks
Ability to work within an atmosphere of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Quality oriented with attention to details
Familiarity with LEAN principles and waste elimination are a plus
Must be 18 years of age
