As a Scientist 1, you will play a crucial role in the development and quality assurance of our medical devices, contributing to projects that have a direct impact on patient care and safety. Your expertise in analytical chemistry will be instrumental in developing methods to analyze materials, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality

Pay: $27?$29/hour, depending on experience and education
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), flexible daytime hours (e.g., 8:00?4:00 or 9:00?5:00)

About the Role

We are seeking a Scientist I to support analytical chemistry and/or in vitro biomedical testing for medical device development. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on lab experience who are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative R&D environment.

What You?ll Do

Perform analytical chemistry and/or in vitro biomedical testing using laboratory instruments
Support research and development projects and potentially pilot-scale manufacturing activities
Execute technical and cross-functional project work
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and established test methods
Document results by writing technical protocols and reports
Assist with lab maintenance, including cleaning and equipment upkeep
Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives

ypical Day

Conduct lab testing and sample analysis
Document and report results
Support general lab operations (e.g., cleaning, running lab equipment such as dishwashers)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field

Understanding of laboratory work; prior lab experience strongly preferred

Strong communication skills

Willingness and ability to learn new techniques and processess
