Job Title: Customer Service Representative I (CSR) Openings: 2 positions Pay Rate: $20.50/ hour Schedule: B5 | Monday?Friday | 7:00 AM ? 3:45 PM Location: Carson, CA 90745 Job Summary The Customer Service Representative I (CSR) serves as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers. This role supports daily warehouse operations by managing customer orders, maintaining accurate records, and acting as a liaison between customers and warehouse staff. The CSR will work within warehouse management systems to track, process, and communicate order-related information efficiently and professionally. Essential Functions ? Support daily operations including order processing, receipts, order confirmations, carrier communications, and general account records ? Communicate professionally and promptly with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence ? Maintain data integrity within company systems and client accounts ? Provide departmental and account support as assigned ? Utilize warehouse information systems (WMS) for order entry, inventory inquiries, and receipt processing ? Accurately complete daily reports, worksheets, and client-required documentation ? Ensure accurate order entry and timely release of information to warehouse staff ? Respond to customer billing inquiries and maintain records of customer interactions ? Notify customers regarding order status changes or adjustments ? Track client activity and complete daily spreadsheets ? Prepare and process shipping and warehouse documents, including work orders, bills of lading (BOL), master BOLs, packing lists, barcode labels, and commercial invoices ? Assist with monthly billing responsibilities, including closing orders and entering charge codes ? Communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, managers, and senior leadership ? Perform additional duties as assigned Required Education & Experience ? High school diploma or GED ? Minimum of two (2) years of related experience ? Experience in a distribution or fulfillment environment preferred Required Skills & Qualifications ? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook ? Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail ? Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment ? Professional demeanor and flexibility with changing priorities ? Ability to cross-train others and work collaboratively ?
