Production Supervisor ? Food Manufacturing Department: Production Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production employees in a food manufacturing environment. This role ensures productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with GMP and food safety standards while coordinating daily operations. Key Responsibilities: ? Supervise and lead production staff to meet performance goals ? Train, coach, and monitor employee performance ? Enforce GMP, food safety, and safety standards ? Ensure product quality throughout the shift ? Coordinate with maintenance to reduce downtime ? Communicate staffing needs with staffing agencies ? Participate in daily production and safety meetings ? Review production reports for accuracy ? Oversee equipment start-up and production line setup ? Monitor cooking and mixing procedures Qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent ? 3?5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing ? Ability to communicate and write in English and/or Spanish ? Flexible schedule (1st and 2nd shift) Schedule Varies (evenings/weekends as needed) Physical Requirements: ? Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs ? Stand and walk for extended periods ? Work in varying temperatures and high-noise environments Pay Rate: $20.50 ? 26.00 hourly Depending on experience | |
