The Opportunity: Why This Role Matters
Join a global leader in medical technology as a Warehouse Sterilization Specialist. This is not your typical warehouse job; you are a vital link in the medical device supply chain. You will oversee the intake and preparation of life-saving equipment for sterilization, ensuring that every product leaving our facility is safe for patient use.
If you are a precision-oriented professional with a strong safety mindset and a knack for logistics, this role offers the chance to work in a high-stakes, technically advanced environment.
Core Responsibilities
As a Specialist, you will manage the flow of materials through the sterilization lifecycle, combining physical logistics with technical data entry.
Precision Logistics: Lead the unloading of inbound shipments, performing rigorous audits of catalog numbers, lot codes, and quantities to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
Sterilization Preparation: Architect sterilization loads by following complex palletization diagrams and strategically placing to validate the sterilization process.
Systems Expertise: Execute real-time inventory transactions using JD Edwards ERP software and IBM Data Collection scanners.
Equipment Operation: Expertly maneuver stand-up forklifts and material handling equipment to stage loads in high-density racking systems.
Quality Compliance: Maintain a pristine work environment in strict accordance with Quality System Regulations (QSR) and safety protocols.
Documentation: Initiate and maintain official sterilization load records, ensuring a "paper trail" of safety for every medical device handled.
Qualifications & Expertise
We are looking for a disciplined professional who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Stand-up truck experience preferred).
Experience: 2?3 years in a warehouse or distribution setting; experience with ERP systems like JD Edwards is a significant plus.
Analytical Skill: Strong logic and reasoning to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and ensure procedural compliance.
Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to interpret technical specifications and operational procedures.
Physical Agility: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs using ergonomic safety techniques.
Work Environment & Safety
This role operates at the heart of our production facilities. You will work in a dynamic environment that may include high-density racking, moving mechanical parts, and specialized sterilization zones (including EO gas areas). We provide full training and safety equipment to ensure you are confident and protected while working with our advanced technology.
