Janitorial/Custodial Staff ? Animo Venice Charter High School Location: 820 Broadway St., Venice, CA 90291 Schedule: Monday?Friday, 3:00 PM ? 11:30 PM Pay: $18.50/hour Overview: We are seeking a reliable janitorial team member for an ongoing, possibly long-term position at Animo Venice. Prior experience preferred. Candidates must have completed LiveScan and TB/Drug Test requirements. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other assigned areas. Empty trash, dust surfaces, vacuum, and mop floors. Replenish restroom supplies and maintain janitorial closet. Clean windows, mirrors, and metal surfaces. Operate cleaning equipment safely and report any malfunctions. Follow chemical safety procedures and proper cleaning methods. Respond to special cleaning requests as needed. Requirements: Must understand and speak English. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and kneeling. No facial or neck tattoos. Must provide and wear slip-resistant shoes. Work Environment: Indoors and outdoors, may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying noise levels. Occasional holidays or weekend work may be required (holiday pay applied).
