Position Overview-
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler/Test Technician to accurately and efficiently assemble and test products to meet customer quality standards and on-time delivery requirements. This role supports lean manufacturing initiatives and works under direct supervisory guidance in a structured manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities-
Perform mechanical assembly and testing using hand tools, power tools, and electronic mechanical equipment

Utilize assembly fixtures, test equipment, and inspection measurement tools

Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, and quality directives

Record test results using basic electrical equipment and flow meters

Perform lock wiring, subassembly, final detailing, and surface finishing (paint, lacquer, glaze, etc.)

Mix paint and properly clean parts as required

Ensure products meet customer and industry standards

Maintain calibration compliance and FOD-free work environment

Contribute to lean initiatives focused on productivity and cost reduction

Follow all safety regulations and company policies

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing experience, including assembly

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions

Basic shop math skills

Comfortable using a computer

Mechanical assembly experience (required)

Must provide copy of High School Diploma or GED prior to interview

Strong job tenure and employment stability (job hoppers will not be considered without valid explanation)

Preferred Qualifications-

Post-secondary education (Electronics Technology preferred)

Soldering experience

Electrical, machining, or engineering education/experience
