(Direct Hire) - Torrance, CA - $80,000 ? $85,000 per year - 1st Shift | Full-Time About the Role: Shine Foods, Inc., a sister company of Jessie Lord Bakery, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations at our food production facility in Torrance. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production staff, ensuring equipment and processes run efficiently, and maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and food manufacturing compliance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with food manufacturing experience who can manage production teams, improve efficiency, and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards. Key Responsibilities: ? Supervise and train production employees and production supervisors to ensure efficiency, safety, and GMP compliance. ? Oversee daily production operations to ensure output, quality, and productivity goals are met. ? Monitor production performance and review daily production reports for accuracy. ? Coordinate staffing and work schedules based on production demands. ? Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule preventative maintenance and minimize downtime. ? Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, cGMP standards, and company policies. ? Participate in safety meetings and promote a safe, accident-free work environment. ? Communicate regularly with upper management regarding production performance and operational issues. ? Work closely with sanitation and production support teams to ensure efficient production flow. ? Identify opportunities to improve production methods, reduce costs, and increase productivity. Qualifications: ? High school diploma or higher education ? 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in food manufacturing ? Bilingual English/Spanish preferred ? Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills ? Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) ? Ability to work in a food production plant environment ?
