Job Title: Packaging Operator Company: Jessie Lord Bakery Location: Torrance, California 90501 Pay: $19.00 ? $20.00 per hour Schedule: Must be available to work 1st or 2nd shift Job Summary: Jessie Lord Bakery is seeking a Packaging Operator Lead to oversee packaging line operations and support production efficiency. This position is responsible for ensuring products are correctly packaged and labeled while monitoring automated packaging equipment in a fast-paced food production environment. Key Responsibilities: ? Direct and support the packaging line team to maintain efficiency ? Verify products are properly labeled and packaged ? Monitor and troubleshoot automated case packaging machines ? Remove rejected product from conveyors and maintain product quality ? Operate case packaging and wrapping machines on the pie production line ? Keep the case builder and packaging machines supplied with materials ? Change packaging film rolls without interrupting production ? Monitor and record product and freezer temperatures ? Follow GMP and food safety standards Requirements: ? Ability to follow instructions in English and/or Spanish ? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment ? Comfortable working in temperature changes and high-noise areas (hearing protection required) ?
