Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Support Specialist to join a dynamic eGIS team supporting a large-scale initiative to replace legacy mapping systems with ArcFM. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and functionality of migrated mapping data within an Esri environment.

You will collaborate with a team of approximately 10 professionals and contribute to high-impact projects supporting electric and gas utility mapping systems.

Key Responsibilities
Perform complex spatial queries to validate accuracy of migrated legacy mapping data within Esri systems
Review land base geometry, structure connectivity, and cable connectivity to ensure data integrity
Validate attribute data for linear and point features related to electric and gas components
Update and optimize map symbology; recommend improvements as needed
Lead testing efforts for vendor deliverables, including factory, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Ensure solutions meet business and user requirements by collaborating with development teams
Review and provide feedback on test plans, scripts, and project documentation
Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, and reporting
Maintain thorough testing documentation and artifacts
Support additional eGIS projects and develop knowledge of mapping systems, processes, and utility infrastructure
Interpret and analyze electrical and gas mapping data
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree (required)
Minimum 2+ years of experience working with Esri GIS, including ArcMap
Strong experience with MXD creation, spatial queries, and spatial analysis
Hands-on experience in a utility environment (electric and/or gas preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High level of attention to detail, integrity, and initiative
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ArcFM (Schneider Electric GIS platform)
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar testing tools
Experience in QA/QC or software/system testing environments
Team & Environment
