Weekly Pay! $65.00/Hour Shift Details : 1st shift Day starts at : 08:00AM or 07:00AM Day Ends at : 04:45PM or 03:45PM DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities and Job Description: Candidates will be required to engineer and design projects to primarily support the Capital and Operations and Maintenance budgets of Facilities which includes the buildings and yards of various Service Centers and Commercial Buildings. Candidates will prepare or direct the preparation of design packages (specifications or drawings) and the review contractor shop drawings perform cost benefit analysis or conduct conceptual studies to determine best designs prepare or direct the preparation of budgets and appropriation requests for specific projects. The candidate will be involved with facility project design, operational & maintenance support, root cause investigation of incidents, system inspections What are the MUST HAVE Skills: The candidates must have a proven record of civil or structural engineering accomplishments, with a strong technical knowledge in the design of all types of steel, concrete and masonry structures Knowledge of all applicable codes such as AISC, ACI, ASCE, NYC Building Code, etc. The candidate must be capable of working directly with both in-house designers and out-of-house consulting engineers and have a proven record in providing civil or structural engineering support for various types of commercial building or yard systems.
