JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire an Inventory Control Specialist for our client in Norcross, GA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.00/Hour Monday- Friday 7 AM to 330 PM (No OT as of now) SUMMARY Responsible for cycle counts, investigates root causes for inventory overages and/or shortages, reviews held locations, and works with the Inventory Control Manager to establish minimums and maximums for pick slots. This position is responsible for validating any variances from PO receipts and system status. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Required: High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience. Computer literate, ability to problem solve, multitask, and excellent communication skills. Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements. Ability to record measurement in number, dimension, size or weight and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred: Previous SAP and experience in cycle counting and other inventory tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ? Ensure all scheduled and immediate cycle counts are performed. This includes special order rack cycle counts. ? Reconcile inventory differences and log notes. ? Perform empty location audits. ? Proactive communication of inventory discrepancies to Sales force. ? Help identify stray merchandise. ? Verify inventory and maintain accuracy of bin labels ? Perform routine aisle sweeps confirming empty locations. ? Review damage and recoups/recover product. ? Slot new items as required. ? Record product dimensions, sizes, and weight. ? Operate forklift/pallet jack. ? Perform other duties as assigned. | |
