Position Summary
We are seeking an entry?level Engineering Laboratory Technician to support engineering and development activities in an onsite laboratory environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates or students pursuing technical degrees who enjoy a hands?on lab setting combined with data analysis and reporting. The position supports new product development, testing, and quality initiatives and works closely with cross?functional teams both onsite and globally.
This role typically involves a 50/50 split between lab work and data/documentation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and execution of formal test protocols, procedures, and reports
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory test equipment with limited supervision
Collect, record, organize, and present test data in a reportable format
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ISO and FDA requirements
Support development builds, including tracking documentation and manufacturing processes
Provide process and test method support and training to Manufacturing and QC personnel
Assist with product failure investigations and root cause analysis
Communicate regularly with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and international teams
Participate in early morning meetings (typically 8?10 AM) with colleagues in other countries
Work safely in a biohazard laboratory environment, following all safety policies and procedures


Minimum Qualifications

Associate?s degree in science, biology, chemistry, math, or a related technical field
OR
High School Diploma with relevant technical or lab experience
OR
Minimum of 4 years of related experience

Required Skills & Experience

Previous lab experience (academic, internship, or work?based)
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with documentation and data sheets
Basic proficiency in:

Excel spreadsheets
Standard word?processing software


Ability to accurately collect, record, and report data
Good written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a team?oriented, highly communicative environment


Nice to Have
Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharma, biotech, etc.)
Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical/graphing software
Exposure to medical devices or product development


Knowledge & Competencies

Basic understanding of laboratory practices and testing methods
Technical writing skills
Organizational and basic math/statistics skills
Task?oriented with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
General aptitude for testing and manufacturing equipment
Outgoing communication style?this role interacts with multiple departments and international teams


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Onsite office and laboratory environment
Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the day
May stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Work conducted in a biohazard environment (training provided; no current vaccination requirements)
