JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire multiple R&D Lab Associates for our client in Westbrook! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $20.06 per hour Monday through Friday | 9:00 AM ? 5:00 PM 6+ month assignment with potential for extension or permanent hire. Previous laboratory or pipetting experience is helpful, but all applicants will be considered!Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply. In this Role You Will: ? Perform laboratory analyses and tests to diagnose various pet and other animal illnesses, injuries and diseases; process specimens, retrieve and release test results, and assist in test research. ? Perform a variety of instrument test protocols for new and existing products. ? Maintain and communicate schedules and changes in schedules. ? Manage lab inventory, procure supplies and stock shelves. ? Be responsible for general lab maintenance and overall cleanliness of lab and lab equipment. ? Support and maintain various processes, systems and databases. ? Perform recordkeeping, data collection and analysis. ? Transcribes and edits pre-dictated medical reports using dictation and editing equipment (both hardware and software) ? Perform administrative duties such as answering phones and preparing parcel deliveries, files requisitions, and performs duties in support of billing, pricing and sample transportation. What You Need to Succeed: ? Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), material safety data sheets (MSDSs), operating and maintenance instructions, government rules and technical procedures. ? Ability to prioritize and multi-task ? Strong initiative and follow through ? Attention to detail ? Ability to work independently and as a team contributor ? Must demonstrate a high level of customer service ? Good computer skills: Microsoft Office and SAP preferred ? You meet the physical requirements that go with working as a Lab Associate ? May transport hazardous waste within the facility and may occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. | |
