Pay Rate - $18.50/hr 1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm Job Description The Material Handler II is responsible for providing the highest level of accuracy within each aspect of customer order fulfillment. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving product, stocking/replenishment, product selection, routing completed orders to the appropriate area, maintaining a clean and safe work environment; and providing direction from the management team to assigned staff. Utilization of computers and RF devices will apply. Performance consistent with guidelines established by the Operations Management Team of the CDC will be essential. Major Responsibilities · Effectively practices and promotes teamwork in all duties. Actions are consistent with objectives and goals for department, distribution center, and health system. Remembers that patients are at the end of our supply chain · Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated locations. · Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information. · Performs duties in a manner that insures inventory accuracy throughout the health system. Verifies products, quantities, and insures label integrity. Provides notification of item maintenance when required. Actual accuracy performance consistent with established standards for a Materials Handler. · Consistently produces work volumes relative to established standards for a Materials Handler. · Knowledge of products and procedures relative to job duties, distribution center, pharmaceutical repackaging, and health system operations. ·Makes decisions based upon job knowledge and experience. Considers all impacted areas in decision process. Seeks advice where applicable. Judgement is sensible and reliable. · Completion of assignments without follow up. Ability to identify, adapt, and pursue priorities. Provides proper communication of unresolved issues in a timely manner. · Completion of assignments without follow up. Actively seeks other tasks upon completion. · Maintain cleanliness in all assign areas and assist in any additional janitorial duties as required. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of warehouse experience Experience with mobile power equipment, e.g. stock picker, lift truck, turret/swing-reach truck, rider jack, and/or the ability to learn and safely operate each. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Behaviors Demonstrated mathematical ability to count accurately and follow written instructions Must be able to manage multiple, complex instructions simultaneously Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Familiarity with computers and keyboard proficiency Ability to train on and operate stretch wrap machine Knowledge and/or experience with Warehouse Management Systems Knowledge and experience with lot controlled and expiration dated product handling.
