3rd Shift Direct Hire Industrial Maintenance Technician Location Griffin, Georgia Employment Type Direct Hire | Full-Time Shift Information 3rd Shift | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule Hours: 6:30 PM ? 7:00 AM Training Schedule: Candidates will complete approximately 2 months of training on 1st shift. Training Hours: 6:30 AM ? 3:30 PM Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay: $34.90/hour Growth Potential: Up to $41.64/hour based on certifications and training Shift Premiums Available Weekly Pay Long-Term Bonus Program Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits Starting Day 1 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Position Summary We are seeking skilled and proactive Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support manufacturing operations in a high-volume industrial environment. Technicians will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant operations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to work independently within assigned plant areas. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on industrial production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems. Diagnose issues involving bearings, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, controls, sensors, PLCs, and VFDs. Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify potential failures. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings. Complete repairs, upgrades, and equipment installations. Document maintenance activities and work orders using CMMS software. Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word for maintenance documentation. Support plant reliability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve recurring equipment issues. Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and all plant safety standards. Perform welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as needed. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 5?7 years of progressive industrial maintenance experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of stable industrial maintenance employment required. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Experience with: Hydraulics Pneumatics Power transmission systems Mechanical repair Electrical controls PLCs Welding and fabrication Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience using CMMS systems. Ability to work overtime, holidays, shutdowns, and rotating shifts. Ability to work independently and know when to escalate equipment concerns. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Technical degree or industrial maintenance certification. Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs. Experience troubleshooting robotic equipment. Manufacturing or tire/rubber industry experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to climb stairs and maneuver throughout manufacturing areas. Comfortable working in industrial production environments.
